About Christopher Bennett

18 Years. $500M+ in Sales. A Practice Built on Relationships.

Christopher Bennett founded 153 Real Estate after more than 18 years of focused practice in coastal and South Orange County. Over that time, he has guided buyers and sellers through more than $500 million in transactions — from first-time luxury purchases to multi-generational estate sales — always as a boutique, relationship-first practice rather than a high-volume production team.

Before real estate, Christopher served in the United States Air Force and earned his Bachelor's of Science from Virginia Tech with a minor in Interior Design and Property Management. He later earned his Master's degree in the Psychology of Leadership from Penn State University. That background — disciplined, principled, and oriented toward service — shapes how he approaches every client relationship. He holds a California Brokers license and is based in Corona Del Mar, Newport Beach.

Common questions

Frequently Asked Questions.

How quickly do you typically respond to inquiries?

Christopher personally responds to every inquiry, typically within a few hours during business hours. For time-sensitive matters — an active listing, an offer deadline, a market question — he is reachable directly by phone at 949.933.4420.

Is there any obligation when I reach out?

None whatsoever. An initial conversation is simply that — a conversation. Christopher's goal is to understand your situation, answer your questions honestly, and help you think through your options. There is no pressure and no obligation.

Do you work with buyers and sellers simultaneously, or do you specialize?

Christopher represents both buyers and sellers, and his experience on both sides of the table makes him a more effective advocate for each. Understanding how sellers think makes him a better buyer's agent, and vice versa. He does not represent both sides of the same transaction.

What areas do you cover?

Christopher's practice covers coastal and South Orange County: Newport Beach, Corona del Mar, Newport Coast, Laguna Beach, Dana Point, San Clemente, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Hills, Mission Viejo, San Juan Capistrano, Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, Seal Beach, Tustin, and Irvine. His focus is intentionally narrow — deep expertise in a defined geography rather than broad coverage of the entire Southern California market.

Can you help with relocation to Orange County from out of state?

Yes. Relocation buyers are a meaningful part of Christopher's practice. He is experienced in helping buyers who are new to the region understand the differences between communities, navigate the purchase process remotely, and make confident decisions without the benefit of years of local familiarity. A video consultation is a natural starting point for out-of-area buyers.
